Dear all of our beloved clients,

Chris and I would firstly like to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for supporting us throughout our journey creating Just Purr-Fect. As you know animal care has been a lifetime passion of mine and I’m very proud of our evolution as a business over the past 13 years, we couldn’t have done it without you all.

As the new year draws closer, like many others in independent business’, we have had to reflect and assess how we continue to thrive both professionally and personally. I’m sure most of you are aware we have been blessed with 2 beautiful boys, one of which has complex additional needs that we need to prioritise. We are so grateful to have had amazing support from our family and team to juggle parenthood and our business up until now but we have realised unfortunately it is not sustainable going forward.

We have had a tough few months coming to this decision and I apologise if this news is in any way inconvenient for you but we have decided to make some changes on how we deliver our service – not only due to personal reasons that will enable us to

better support our sons being more present as parents, but also due to financial aspects such as the massive increase in bills and the incoming 6.7% pay increase and national insurance contributions.

We will be implementing the following changes from January 2025:

• We will be working from home slightly more often which means we will be a

little bit more restricted on the number of dogs we can book in.

• Our pick-up times will be between 9:00am and 10:00am which will enable

Chris and I to do after the school runs and we will be dropping dogs home

between 5:00pm and 6:00pm.

• The day care centre will continue to open at 8am for you to drop your dogs

into us between 8:00am and 9:00am and pick-up time will be between 5:00

and 6:00pm from our homes – we will let you know the day before if it will be

from our house (27 Rosebery Road) or Kate’s (84 St Andrews Road).

• Lunch time pick ups and drop offs to the centre will need to be between 12:30

and 1:30pm. If you need to pick up at any other time you will need to arrange

this with us

• Slightly reduced hours in the daycare centre means admin will be done at

specific times and as our staff will predominantly be out walking dogs our

phoneline will not be manned at all times. We highly recommend emailing or

texting us and we will respond to any questions and process your bookings as

quickly as possible.

• Please make sure you book well in advance for any daycare or boarding that

you may require.

• We will be able to offer more walking slots than we do at this current time to

cover any dogs that can't book in for daycare.

This will not affect anyone who has an existing monthly booking with us, you will be able to continue with your regular bookings.

We also need to make you aware we are truly heartbroken to have had to let two of our wonderful team members go. We will do our best to keep things running as close to our current routine as we can but please be patient with us as our smaller team finds our feet and gets used to the new normal.

I want to thank you again for all of your support and kindness in the last 13 years and we hope to continue the Just Purr-fect journey for many more years to come but just in a slightly different way for now.
